2016 Exam Pattern will provide you detailed information regarding the
modalities of the law entrance exam conducted by University of Petroleum and
Energy Studies (UPES). The Exam Pattern of UPES Legal Studies and Aptitude Test
(ULSAT) 2016 will help you in drawing an overview of the exam including

Paper Pattern of ULSAT 2016
Let us
have a quick peek over the exam modalities of the UPES Legal
Studies Aptitude Test (ULSAT)–
Exam Mode – UPES will be
conducting ULSAT 2016 in an online mode.
Exam Duration– The online ULSAT 2016
shall be conducted for a maximum of 2 hours.
Exam Venues – The online
aptitude test of UPES Legal Studies can be appeared from any city across India.
All you need to have is a computer system, an internet connection and a webcam.
Moreover, even your office, home or a cyber café can become your ULSAT 2016
exam centre provided you have the mentioned equipment.
Number of Questions – ULSAT 2016 shall
comprise of as many as 150 questions of multiple-choice (objective) nature.
Total Marks – The total marks
allotted to ULSAT 2016 is 150.
Marking Scheme – While each
correct answer shall be awarded one mark, no mark shall be awarded or deducted
for questions unanswered or marked wrong, respectively. UPES doesn’t follow any
negative marking policy. However, any question responded with more than one
option will be considered wrong and no marks shall be awarded to the very
question even though one of the other options marked is correct.

Subjects – The 150 objective-type questions shall
be covering as many as 5 subjects including Language Comprehension,
Quantitative & Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Legal General
Knowledge and Legal Aptitude.

2016 Important Dates provides
you an overview of the scheduled events of UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test and
their corresponding dates. With the important dates of ULSAT 2016, you can
easily keep a better track of the aptitude test events including date of
application, download admit card, exam and result.University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) will be conducting ULSAT 2016 in the second week of May for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes in the College of Legal Studies.

Important
Events of ULSAT 2016 –
Let us go through ULSAT 2016 Important Exam Events, as provided below –
UPES
will be issuing notification for ULSAT 2016 in the first week of November,
while the applications can be made between second week of November 2015 and
first week of May 2016.
You
will be able to book your slots for UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test (ULSAT)
2016 in the third week of April and login credentials of Online ULSAT 2016 will
be sent by the UPES officials, a day before the commencement of exam. The login
credentials will be your E-Admit Card.
After
the online aptitude test of UPES Legal Studies is over in different slots
during the second week of May, ULSAT 2016 Result will be announced by the last
week of May, followed by a process of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal
Interview (PI) in the second week of June 2016.
Based
on your performance in Online ULSAT 2016, GD and PI, a final rank/merit list
will be issued by the University in the last week of June. If you have your
name in the ULSAT 2015 Rank List, you will be admitted in the College of Legal
Studies of UPES.
ULSAT
