Approach to coaching-
Learning is more ‘fun’ than ‘fun.’ If it is not ‘fun’, it will not be done.
Anyone can learn. Talent is normally hidden and
it just has to be dusted out and polished. People have intrinsic desire to be
successful. Skills can be built!
Barefoot
believes that if books, classrooms and libraries were enough for success, we
would not need teachers. It also believes that teaching may not be coaching;
coaching is different as it is building and preparing for success. Coaching is
leveraging on strengths and works more through unique strengths. Qualifying and
competing are two different things and may not be collectively inclusive.
Barefoot
believes in experiential learning in collaborative and challenged environments. Barefoot will use, proven learning tools and
techniques: NLP, Structured and Lateral Thinking, Analytical Reasoning and Problem
solving, Competency Building, Sweet-Spotting, Replicating and Collaborative
Community Learning. Use of Researched and tested learning materials. Learning
Dashboards, Effectively apply Coaching, Mentoring and Counselling skills. Area Content Expert (ACE) Workshops, Case-study, effective use of Internet based Blogs, Forums, Surveys, and Quizzes.
Module based learning-
Step by step and Capability Building Framework.
Study materials-
Low cost to free (print as well as online) all sponsored by patrons from
Industry and other bodies.
Vision- Build Super 30 Model based
on IIT free coaching at Patna.
Motivational speakers- Appreciative Inquiry (AI) method,
Inspirational Speakers.
Cluster-based Intelligence Groups and promoted
group learning.
Learn with values, empathy and passion.

A Quote by Jack Welch on selecting, passion,
integrity, and energy
“Before you even think about assessing
people for a job, they have to pass through three screens. The first test is
for integrity. People with integrity tell the truth, and they keep their word.
The second test is for intelligence. The candidate has a strong dose of
intellectual curiosity, with a breadth of knowledge to work with or lead other
smart people in today's complex world. The third ticket to the game is
maturity—the ability to handle stress and setbacks, and enjoy success with
equal parts of joy and humility.
I then apply the "4-E (And 1-P) Framework'' for hiring that I've found consistently effective, year after year, across businesses and borders. The first E is positive energy. It means the ability to go go go—to thrive on action and relish change. The second E is the ability to energize others, and inspire them to take on the impossible. The third is edge, the courage to make tough yes-or-no decisions. The fourth E is execute—the ability to get the job done. Then I look for that final P, passion—a heartfelt, deep and authentic excitement about work.”
